Wake up. Check your phone. Look at the weather. Try to decide what to wear.
You can make this one step simpler with Swackett. I read about this app in Seventeen magazine and downloaded it instantly. Swackett provides you with your local weather and an idea of what to wear. Its kind of like having a personal stylist and meteorologist in your phone! I got this app a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed. It makes things so much simpler when you are not sure what to wear with the changing weather.
I also love to use this app when I wake up late and can’t think of an outfit (this may or may not be what happened this morning). You can see what Swackett advised me to wear and how I adapted it for my style!
It can be hard to style a maxi skirt, so here is an idea. I paired mine with a light pink top from Hollister. The tank is silk which mixes up the cotton skirt. I added a belt for structure and shimmering earrings for interest! This outfit is fashionable but comfortable, perfect for a coffee shop setting.
Love the coffee addict,
First, I want to clear a few things up, in the following pictures I am wearing a dress. I’m just not wearing it the “right” way. This is a tank top dress with an elastic waistband. I stuck my legs through the neck hole and pulled it up as a skirt! Aside from the shock of my magical dress, let’s look at the print mixing here. These two prints work for two reasons, one being, they are in the same color family. The second is the size of the prints, the stripes are big, and the paisleys on my shirt are smaller. This outfit needs few accessories, so I only added one simple bracelet and pink shoes!
Now go magically transform all your dresses!
Details can make an outfit. The beading, prints, and colors of this outfit all mix perfectly! Wearing a bold pair of shorts can be tricky but the simple white top with pearls keeps the look simple and not to mention classy.
Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Joe Fresh for JcPenny
I just found this top on Friday at Forever 21. I have been searching the globe for the perfect crop top and I finally found it. I was inspired by Taylor Swift‘s performance of 22 on the Red Tour. She wore a navy blue and white striped tee and high waist red shorts with red shoes. I would love to have her bedazzled varsity jacket, I think it would really complete my look! To me this outfit is perfect for a summer day. It could easily be taken into night by adding a jacket. My belt is Vince Camuto, which I picked up in December at my local T.J. Maxx!
The look I was going for was model street style or just a casually cool day. Again, I wore a tee and shorts (AKA my summer wardrobe when I don’t feel like thinking). This IMATS tee was a gift from a friend and I wear it all the time. I usually don’t like band bracelets like I have on below, but because it was Taylor Swift I made an exception.
Recently I have been going for very simple but “chic” outfits. I took that saying literally in this one! I found this shirt at Forever 21 and I ordered it right away! My hat is from Walmart. I was very surprised to find such a glamorous hat there! It was only around 7 dollars so I don’t have to worry about ruining it when I wear it to the beach. I took these pictures right before a huge thunder storm, that’s why is seems so windy!
Stay Chic Everyone
