I love the spring vibe this outfit gives off!
If you have the “winter blues” why not wear blue! I love winter so much, but the mere thought of spring makes me a little giddy. (The photos look like it is spring, but a few days after I took these photos, we got another snow storm!!!!) If you feel this way, you may have a case of the Winter Blues. I took the saying “WINTER BLUES” literary, and mixed different shades of blue together. Let your desire for spring give you an inspiration to create an outfit for the last few weeks of winter. I paired a blue corduroy jacket with royal blue skinny jeans together. I liked the corduroy jacket because it added a little interest to the look by mixing up the textures.
What I’m Wearing:
Shirt: Gap (they have the best basics)
Pants: American Eagle
Belt: Vintage Tie tied into a bow
Keep warm until spring is here!
Sometimes it can be fun to wear shorts in the winter, but it can get a little cold. I suggest wearing tights and boots with your shorts to make them more winter friendly! Mine are a wool blend, but it would be fine to wear a lighter more summery material. I’m going to show you how to take your shorts look from day (or in my case class) to a chic night look.
For the makeup I kept it pretty simple. Line your waterline and tight line with Sephora Nano Liner in Black. Then add a few coats of mascara. Awaken your eyes by putting Sephora Crayon Jumbo in on the inner corner of the eye. Last, mattify your beautiful face with a powder. If you feel you need more coverage than powder, just do your normal skin routine.
First, smooth it out using a flat iron. Then, put your hair in a low ponytail on the back of your head and add a bow! I DIYed mine!
I added my Juicy Couture Charm Bracelet. I seriously love it. The charms are so big and fun! I also added a Steve Madden bag with the strap out.
To keep extra cozy, I slid on my Ugg Boots in Black. Any type of winter boots would give you the same vibe.
That’s the complete outfit for day!
Now you have left class or work, and you are ready for a fun night out. To take your makeup from day to night, add a dark lip and a sparkly gold winged eye. I used Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing in confidence and Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush liquid glitter eyeliner in gold.
Let Your Hair Down!
Switch from Ugg boots to over the knee boots in black(I purchased mine at urbanog a few years ago). Mine have a little wedge on them which gives height without being uncomfortable. I also tucked the chain into my bag making it a clutch. Now you are chic for night!
Have a Glamorous Day
